Hannah and Sandy

Gorgeous day where Hannah proved burying an uncooked sausage the night before really does keep the rain away!

Decor was kept simple and personal. Delicate baby's breath from Little Blooms was arranged for the end of the aisle. They had bud vases with beautiful blue flowers grown in the Sandy's mum's garden. Twinkling lights added a touch of sparkle, creating a warm and magical atmosphere as day turned to evening.

Guests enjoyed a delicious hog roast served buffet style in a separate room, creating a relaxed and sociable atmosphere.

Guests were amazed by a talented magician and sang along to 'Ye cannae shove yer granny aff the bus' from the pipes.

The dance floor stayed full the whole night!

Jess and George

Jess and George married just before Christmas and fully embraced the festive aesthetic, with beautifully decorated Christmas trees dotted throughout the venue while twinkling fairy lights added an extra touch of seasonal sparkle.

Guests enjoyed a hearty meal from Green Light Catering, which perfectly complemented the winter celebration and added to the festive feeling of the day. Surrounded by family and friends, Jess and George created a relaxed and welcoming celebration that captured the magic of the season.

Heather from Little Blooms outdone herself with stunning wreaths adorning the doors and an abundance of festive flowers and plants placed throughout the space. Together, they created a warm and magical setting that perfectly captured the spirit of Christmas.

Keen to spend their day making memories rather than managing logistics, Jess and George chose not to delegate tasks to friends and family. They didn't want anyone worrying about timings, coordinating suppliers, or directing guests, so I took care of all the behind-the-scenes organisation. From managing the schedule to ensuring everything ran smoothly, my role allowed everyone to relax and enjoy the day from start to finish.

Hannah and Craig

When Hannah and Craig first got in touch, they knew they needed plenty of support with planning their wedding. We spent months meeting, discussing ideas, refining details, and carefully selecting suppliers until every element of the day came together.

When I say this was the wedding, I truly mean it; every detail was thoughtfully considered, creating an unforgettable celebration.

Their ceremony began with a friend playing the harp, setting a heartfelt and personal tone for the day. Following the ceremony, Hannah and Craig were piped out for their confetti shot, creating a memorable moment for everyone to enjoy. Music filled the venue from morning until night, keeping spirits high and the atmosphere buzzing throughout the celebrations.

Guests were treated to an incredible five-course tasting menu prepared by Bonnie and Clyde, finishing with a delicious individual table tiramisu. Every course was beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed, making the meal a real highlight of the day.

Meanwhile, the team at Social and Cocktail worked tirelessly behind the scenes and at the bar, crafting a variety of cocktails, keeping glasses topped up, and ensuring guests were looked after all day long.

From the first note of the harp to the final dance of the evening, it was a glorious day from start to finish and a true pleasure to be part of.
